Treasurer

The Treasurer is the Chief Financial Officer of the school district and reports directly to the Board of Education.

The Treasurer’s Office is responsible for all finances of the Elgin Local School District including banking, investments, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax receipts, bond issues, financial reporting, and Board minutes.

The Treasurer is responsible for the preparation of the annual budget and financial report. The Treasurer also serves as the Secretary to the Board of Education. In this role, the Treasurer’s office holds all contracts, documents, and the official minutes of all Board meetings.
