The following position is open in the Elgin Local Schools for the 2026-2027 School Year.
Position: Cleaning/Custodial-2nd Shift
Qualifications:
- BCI/FBI clearance
Essential Functions:
- Deep cleaning and sanitizing entire classrooms, offices, media centers, and cafeteria areas and restrooms
- Ensuring the facility is safe and functional
- Ability to lift between 20-60 pounds
- Be able to work with a team
Salary: To Be Determined based on experience and the Board-adopted salary schedule
Hours: Monday - Friday 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Contract: 260 Days
Start Date: July 1, 2026
