I teach Physical Science, Honors Physical Science, and Everyday Engineering this year at Elgin High School.  I am originally from Nashport, Ohio, a small town just outside of Zanesville.  I have always loved science, and after graduating from Tri-Valley High School, I earned my bachelor's degree in astropysics at Ohio Wesleyan University.  I spent a year in the geophysics PhD program at The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!), where I also worked as a teaching assistant.  While I really enjoyed my research, I realized that my true passion is teaching.  I switched into an education program at Ohio State and graduated with a master's degree in 2012.  I was a long-term substitute at Gahanna Middle School South for a year, where I taught 7th grade science.  In 2013, I was hired as a physical science teacher at Marion Harding High School.  I taught there for two years, but I decided it was time for a change.  This is my third year at EHS.  I am a co-adviser for both Student Council and Board Game Club.  I got married over the summer, so you may know me as Miss Miller.  :)
