pancakes (pillsbury recipe)

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup Shortening (crisco), melted
  • 1 cup  All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Preparation Directions

  • MIX together milk, egg and shortening in medium bowl. Combine flour, powdered sugar, baking powder and salt in separate bowl. Add to milk mixture and stir until dry ingredients are just moistened.
  • SPRAY griddle or skillet with no-stick cooking spray. Heat to medium-high heat. For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup batter onto griddle. Cook until bubbles appear evenly over top, about 1 1/2 minutes. Turn over and brown second side, about 1 minute more. Serve with syrup.


Put 1/4 cup batter into pancake mold
