Elgin High School Students and Families,

The 2016-17 school year is moving at an extremely fast pace.  Scheduling for the 2017-18 school year is moving forward, preparations for end of year activities are being completed, and testing for End of Course assessments begins shortly.  The following is important information for students, parents and staff for the remainder of this school year and the upcoming new year.

Spring Reminders

As we move closer to the final nine weeks of the 2016-17 school year, there are many items to think about. Seniors are preparing for graduation, and anticipating the next phase of their high school career or life after high school.  With this come many awards nights, banquets and wrap up activities.  It is very important to view the current Elgin High School webpage for important information and dates.  The webpage will be updated on a continuous basis to give you the latest details of times and dates.  It will also be a valuable tool to use this summer for all-important information that may directly impact your student.

Testing for End of Course assessments begins the first of April and will continue through May.  Juniors will be taking the ACT on March 21, free of charge.  All students will be Job Shadowing on April 3, which is also a 2-hour delay day.  It will be a very busy Spring at Elgin High School.
