The Elgin FFA Officers hold officer retreat in Mohican
During the summer, the Elgin FFA Officers took a three day retreat to the Mohican area.
Officer Retreat is very important for the chapter because it brings all the officers together before the start of a new year. It is a great bonding experience for the officers, along with making plans for the upcoming year. Officer retreat is a lot of fun for all involved. The responsibility of all the other meals was placed on the officer team. They were paired up and assigned either breakfast, lunch, or dinner with a budget to go grocery shopping. This part of the retreat can be very fun and interesting at times. The officers also bonded over very exciting card games. Other than getting to know each other and having a great time, the officer team also made a lot of important decisions for the next year.
Overall Officer Retreat was a great success for all those who attended, and the FFA hopes to be able to continue to have officer retreats in the future.
